The new Oris Artelier S watches transform elegant timekeeping with a rich black or deep forest green dial option. The watches are simple and minimalist in design and are combined with a classic leather strap to accompany elegant attire perfectly.
If you’re still exploring Oris as a Swiss luxury watch brand to invest in, it might come as a surprise to learn that the manufacturer has a proven and successful track record in producing dress watches as well as robust dive watches and classic pilot’s watches. The Oris Artelier watch collection is home to some of the brand’s most elegant timepieces and by quickly browsing through this range, it’s easy to see why it has become such a popular choice.
Some of the highlights of the Oris Artelier watch collection include those models powered by movements that are manufactured in-house by Oris, as well as those timepieces that are produced in a limited supply, namely those in honour of jazz legends. Whether you opt for an intricate-looking skeletonised model, a sportier chronograph design, or a simple three-handed model, Oris Artelier watches are great for adding a modest touch to formal or elegant evening attire. That said, they work perfectly with casual day-to-day attire too!
Amongst some of the key models from the Oris Artelier watch collection are those powered by in-house movements named the Calibre 111, the 112 and the 113, as well as the popular skeletonised Artelier, which grants visible access to the movement through a hole in the dial. In addition to this, the Oris Artelier Translucent dial does away with the dial to create a generous view of the movement through not only the front of the case, but the back also, with a mineral glass caseback. For slightly more complex models, there are the Oris Artelier Chronometer date option, promising outstanding accuracy thanks to its COSC certified movement, not to mention many lady’s Oris Artelier options, including the Artelier Date Grande Lune and its alternative diamond-set version. Complication watches from Oris also include the Artelier Worldtimer, geared towards the wrists of avid travellers.
Now Oris introduces two new models to this line of purist wristwatches. Both measure a 38mm size and both promise the same elegant style that has long been associated with the Oris Artelier watch collection. The Artelier S watches are known for their simplicity, their smooth curves and effortlessly flowing lines that appear to meld to the wrist with a seamless and natural nature. Motivated by only what is necessary, you can see from the design of the two new Oris Artelier S watches that their dials are pared back and minimalist to show off the most essential elements of timekeeping for everyday use. Even the case itself has been carefully designed by specialists for optimum comfort and practicality.
Taking a glance at the new Oris Artelier S watches, you will see that both models offer a different dial. One is a deep black hue whilst the other (undeniably more alluring) is an unusual deep forest green that subtly nods to the Swiss home of the coveted Oris Artelier watch and the verdant Waldenburg Valley of which serves as an inspirational backdrop to each of the timepieces designed by the brand.
The 38mm diameter of each of the new green and black Oris Artelier S watches are a great option for those with slender wrists. Both cases are 30-meter water resistant and are crafted from stainless steel with a multi-piece case construction. Attached to the front of each case is a strong anti-reflective and scratch-resistant piece of sapphire crystal glass, designed to offer optimum protection over the dial and any potential damage that could affect its appearance. To the right of the case at 3 o’clock is a crown that has been engraved with the famous Oris logo.
Classic, simple and pure, the Oris Artelier S watch in both green and black features the Oris lettering standing proud at the top of the dial under the 12 o’clock position. The locations around the hour track remain incredibly discreet, whilst the central minute and hour hands are filled with a filigree-thin line of luminescent material to assist with timekeeping at night or when caught out in dark conditions.
Inside the case of the two new Oris Artelier S watches is the Calibre Oris 733, based on a third party movement that delivers a performances of 28,800 vibrations per hour and a power reserve of 38 hours once fully wound. You get a chance to view the watch in motion by flipping the case over to the underside where a mineral glass caseback grants a unique view into the realms of horology.
Rounding up the elegantly stylish design of the two new black and forest green versions of the Oris Artelier S watch, the models are fitted with a leather strap. The dark green model is matched with a stylish brown leather band whilst the black dial version is completed with a matching black leather strap, both of which secure to the wrist with a stainless steel folding clasp engraved with the Oris name.
