Golfer Branden Grace Joins Maurice Lacroix Watch
Friday - 06 September 2013
Branden Grace is a 25-year-old golfer from South Africa. In 2012 he became the first person to win his first four European Tour events in the same year.
His partnership with Maurice Lacroix was announced ahead of the Crans-Montana European Masters Tournament, held from 5th-8th September 2013. Grace tweeted that he was "so proud" to be associated with the brand.
The Maurice Lacroix Pontos Chronographe, worn by Grace as part of the partnership, is a timepiece "aimed at those who appreciate sportsmanship and design". It is powered by an automatic movement based on the Valjoux 7750 calibre, with 30-minute and 12-hour chronograph counters. Small seconds and date apertures are placed at 9 o'clock and 6 o'clock.
The watch has a 43 mm steel case that combines polished and brushed surfaces. It has a domed sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating on both sides, and a screwed case back with a large sapphire crystal. The sun-brushed finished dial has applied index markers and hands with a luminescent coating.
The Pontos Chronographe comes with a bracelet or leather strap. Available now for £3,300.
