The Details

For the release of the new Breitling Superocean Automatic 44 UK watch, specialists at the brand’s Grenchen-based facilities have chosen a bunch of design features that are great for scuba divers, sportsmen, and general fans of the Superocean design. You can swim with the watch, snorkel with the watch, surf with the watch and even go to the beach bar wearing it. The new watch measures a 44mm diameter and has been crafted from stainless steel. Its robust design is shock-resistant, sand-resistant and salt-water resistant, all rolled into one. What makes the watch even more appealing is its inner rotating dive bezel with markings up to 60 minutes in a legible white hue against an anthracite background. Then, you have features like a 300-meter water resistance, which is more than ample for most people’s diving capabilities. To help the watch be seen legibly under the water or at night, the dial of the new UK-exclusive Superocean watch is adorned with lashings of Super-LumiNova material. It makes the thick hour hand and the thin minute hand, compete with a luminous rectangle stand out in dark conditions.
