Maurice Lacroix Masterpiece Squelette Watch Review
Friday - 12 April 2013
The Maurice Lacroix Masterpiece Squelette MP7228 is a skeleton watch described by the brand as "unique, extraordinary and steadfast", joining a collection known for its avant-garde designs and latest technological innovations.
The watch has a 43 mm stainless steel case with a satin and polished finish, and a domed sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating on both sides. The stamped hours and minutes hands have a luminescent coating for improved visibility, and a small seconds hand is placed at 9 o'clock.
The manual wind ML134 skeleton movement has been created with the highest level of precision and can be seen through the sapphire crystal case back. Each component is individually polished, and the main bridge features Grand Colimaçon decoration and sandblasting in black or rose gold PVD.
The new Masterpiece Squelette is water resistant to 50 metres, and comes with a black or brown genuine crocodile skin strap, lined with calfskin.
