G-Shock has created two new timepieces that will support the protection of dolphins and whales.
The brand has released a special watch each year since 1994 to raise funds and awareness for wildlife conservation projects.
Two new watches for 2012 will be launched in Japan on June 30th, with part of the proceeds donated to the International Cetacean Education Research Center (ICERC)'s Dolphin, Whale and Human Fund.
The G-Shock GWX-8900K includes a tidal graph with presets for tides in 100 worldwide locations, and data on the phases of the moon. A whale image can be seen on the case, strap and LED backlight.
The Baby-G BGR-3004K features a dolphin image on the transparent blue strap and EL backlight.
Both offer 20 bar water resistance, world time, stopwatch and timer functions. The designs are blue in colour to "evoke a spirit of conservationism, inspired by the beauty of the sea", and feature a slogan on the strap: "Love the Sea and the Earth".
