James Twigg Finishes Trek for Charity for PASIC
Tuesday - 15 September 2015
A big and well deserved congratulations to our loyal customer, James Twigg for completing his trek for the charity PASIC in 8 hours and 42 minutes.
All proceeds from the sponsored trek will support the fantastic charity organisation: The Parent’s Association for Seriously Ill Children. The charity offers the necessary practical, financial and social support to children and young people living with cancer, their families and carers. The 27 mile trek will take place in the Peak District alongside four of his colleagues from TIS (Total Integrated Solutions Limited.)
James wore the Suunto Watch Ambit3 Peak Sapphire S purchased from Jura Watches to accompany the team for the duration of the trek. Chosen for its ability to guide those on their quest with its GPS tracker and to wirelessly connect to their iPhone to relive their experience, the Suunto Watch became a trusty companion. Fastened to James’ wrist the trek was accurately timed and led the committed five to the final destination.
In addition, Jura Watches have kindly donated a Suunto Core All Black to the raffle held in October where again the proceeds are donated to PASIC. We are extremely proud to support James and the charity in continuing their incredible work that supports and helps those in an extremely difficult time in their lives. James Twigg and his colleagues wish to raise awareness of such an amazing charity who change the lives of those struggling to accept and to cope with an unimaginable situation.
If you wish to donate to the cause please do by showing your support at their Just Giving Page.
