Nomos Glashütte Orion 33 Rosé Watch Review
Tuesday - 13 November 2012
The Orion is known as the "secret favourite" at Nomos Glashütte, as it is the watch of choice for almost all of its watchmakers. With elegant curvature and a fine stainless steel bezel, the Orion appears flatter than other manually wound models and is described by the brand as "beautifully modest".
The Nomos Glashütte Orion 33 Rosé is smaller than the original Orion, with a diameter of 32.8 mm. The watch has a stainless steel case with domed sapphire crystal, and a galvanised silver-plated rosé dial. "The dial's light rosé hue flatters the skin, the eye, and, with its 33-millimetre diameter, delicate wrists in particular," the brand says.
The hands and indexes are gold coloured and diamond polished, and a domed sapphire crystal case back reveals the α (Alpha) in-house calibre movement with manual winding. The watch comes with a beige velour leather strap.
