Corum has dedicated a limited edition timepiece to the Bol d'Or Mirabaud 2012, the world's largest regatta in enclosed waters with spinnakers raised.
More than 500 boats took part in the sailing event at Lake Geneva from 15th-17th June, which was sponsored by Corum for the third consecutive year. The winners were awarded with Corum watches specially designed for the 2012 regatta: the Admiral's Cup 44 Chrono Centro Bol d'Or Mirabaud.
"While sailing is undoubtedly the core of Corum's international sponsorship strategy, more than anything the company identifies with unique moments in sport and human adventures," said Corum CEO Antonio Calce. "We have always supported local regattas and I am proud to be able to support all the participants in the Bol d'Or and to motivate them by rewarding the winners of the Bol d'Or and the Bol Vermeil with a Corum Admiral's Cup watch."
The Corum Admiral's Cup 44 Chrono Centro Bol d'Or Mirabaud features trademark regatta blue accents to reflect the world of sailing. The watch is equipped with mechanical self-winding CO960 movement that is chronometer-certified by the COSC, and it has a 44 mm vulcanised rubber case in the signature Corum twelve-sided shape. It is a limited edition of just 30 pieces.
