Tissot is Official Watch of 2012 Ice Hockey World Championships
Tuesday - 08 May 2012
The 2012 Ice Hockey World Championships is held from 4th - 20th May in Helsinki, Finland, and Stockholm, Sweden. It marks the first time the event has been hosted by two countries.
As Official Timekeeper, Tissot is visible at every match to provide accurate timing and statistics. The Swiss brand has also created a new "precise, robust and sporty" Official Watch for the competition, in honour of its longstanding partnership with the International Ice Hockey Federation.
The colour scheme of the Tissot PRS 200 Ice Hockey 2012 is inspired by the sport: blue and silver representing the reflections of the ice, and red to illustrate the ice rink's faceoff and goal lines.
This year ice hockey fans can watch all 64 games of the 2012 IIHF World Championships at an official dedicated YouTube channel: www.youtube.com/icehockey. It features high-quality video stream of each game, live and on demand, along with daily highlights including goals and saves.
