Suunto GPS Explorer Watch Review

Suunto has launched its new Ambit timepiece: 'the first true GPS watch for explorers'.
The Suunto Ambit will become available in March and includes a number of features designed for backcountry skiers, hikers, trail runners and mountain climbers. The watch features a GPS navigation system, altimeter, 3D compass, advanced heart rate monitoring, robust BuiltToLast casing, and an enhanced battery life of up to 50 hours in GPS mode.
Recordbreaking extreme ski mountaineer Greg Hill said: "This is an awesome product that should be on the wrist of anyone who heads into the outdoors. The Ambit is a potentially live-saving survival tool thanks to its full GPS capability and altimeter."
