Corum Watches Ambassador Wins Sportsman of the Year

Corum brand ambassador and skier Didier Cuche was awarded 2011 Sportsman of the Year at the Credit Suisse Sports Awards.
The ceremony was broadcast live from Zurich at the end of the year and celebrated the success of 10 nominated sports personalities, including cross-country skier Dario Cologna and tennis player Roger Federer. The nominees were selected by a jury of elite names within the world of sport and media, before television voters chose their overall winner based on likeability and sports performance. Didier Cuche, brand ambassador for Corum since last summer, expressed his delight at receiving the prize.
Didier wore a Corum Ti-Bridge Power Reserve timepiece for the occasion, saying: "Despite this watch on my wrist, time has stood still. It's a truly amazing feeling to find oneself the favourite sportsman in the country, and I am truly honoured by this title." He also thanked the luxury watch brand for its partnership: "Corum accompanies me in all my sporting adventures and I am delighted to be able to rely on the support of this watchmaking family."
