IWC - #IWCHERITAGE: Perpetual Calendars
Wednesday - 14 September 2022
Luxury watch enthusiast Justin Hast sits down with IWC Museum Curator David Seyffer to discuss the evolution of the legendary IWC Perpetual Calendar watch. The IWC Perpetual Calendar complication was first developed by Kurt Klaus in the 1980s. The movement comprises of only 80 parts and displays the date, day, month, year and the moon phase and automatically recognises the different length of the months including leap days. The moon phase display is so precise that it will deviate from the actual phase of the moon by just one day after 577.5 years.
