Suunto Elementum Terra Watch Review
Thursday - 28 March 2013
The Suunto Elementum Terra is an urban-inspired sports watch that measures altitude and weather trends, and features a 3D compass activated by a single press of a button. The compass compensates for tilt as the watch moves, so its information remains accurate at all times.
The new models for 2013 include two designs with a leather strap: black with yellow details, and black with red details.
"The aim was to introduce new models that add sporty and youthful colours but still feel very classic," said Simo Soini, Suunto Product Manager.
A third new design features a silicon rubber strap in a bright amber colour.
"With this model we wanted to bring a bit more colour to the range, currently dominated by black-and-white and earthy tones, yet maintain the balance and elegance in the design," Soini explains.
The Elementum Terra has a 51 mm stainless steel case, and a scratch resistant, anti-reflective sapphire crystal. It is water resistant to 100 metres, and is powered by a lithium battery.
