Graham Silverstone Vintage 30 Watch Review
Tuesday - 06 November 2012
The Silverstone Vintage 30 was designed to reflect the primary values of engineers in the late 19th Century, who created petrol-fuelled machines for racing. There were no awards or trophies for winning these legendary races - just the enjoyment of driving, and a focus on technical improvements. The watch has been designed in this same frame of mind: "streamlined and aesthetically refined to achieve genuine aerodynamics and technology".
The timepiece is available with a black or off-white dial, and comes with an integrated light brown leather strap. The steel case measures 47 mm, and there is a date display at 7 o'clock. It has a steel bezel with 'Clous de Paris' high grip pattern, and a domed sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating on both faces. Movement is Swiss automatic Graham caliber G1734, a bi-compax chronograph, with Incabloc shock absorber and 48 hours power reserve. The watch has a see-through sapphire crystal case back.
