G-Shock has teamed up with Dazed & Confused magazine to launch the G-Shock 30th Anniversary Awards.
The awards will pay tribute to the best up-and-coming talent in the fields of fashion, art, music and sport, while celebrating the watch brand's 30-year milestone.
Shortlists for each category will be decided by Dazed & Confused, with four panels of industry experts judging the winners. The results will be announced at an awards ceremony in October, where each winner will be awarded £3,000 worth of funding from Casio G-Shock to help them progress in their chosen field.
The public may also submit nominations for a special Toughness Award - a prize for the emerging talent that, through extraordinary determination to overcome obstacles in their career, best exemplifies the G-Shock "Spirit of Toughness". The Toughness Award winner will receive a £5,000 prize.
Each winner will become a G-Shock ambassador, joining a group selected for their success, recognition and determination in their respective industries.
