Henrik Fisker, leading sports car designer and founder of Fisker Automotive, is the new brand ambassador of Maurice Lacroix.
Throughout his career Henrik Fisker has designed some of the world's most iconic sports cars, including the Aston Martin DB9 and BMW Z8.
In 2007 he formed Fisker Automotive, and with the belief that high performance could also be eco-friendly, created the Fisker Karma - the world's first electric vehicle extended range (EVer) luxury car. "The world's first electric sports car with extended range was just a dream," Fisker said. "Until I created it."
Maurice Lacroix has praised Fisker's "innovative spirit", comparing his design vision to the brand's ethos. Marc Glaser, Managing Director at Maurice Lacroix S.A., said: "Maurice Lacroix stands for a contemporary interpretation of the Swiss art of watchmaking. Who better than Henrik Fisker, whose concept has revolutionised the car industry, to represent our products and values? Our common basis lies in the similarity of our approach."
Henrik Fisker speaks equally highly of the brand: "When I saw Maurice Lacroix watches for the first time, I was immediately inspired. I see a very close connection with these watches and the beauty of a car. For me personally, this is an important similarity. This is what makes life exciting."
Maurice Lacroix created an advertising campaign to promote their new ambassador, and has released 'behind the scenes' video footage of Henrik Fisker speaking about the luxury watch brand.
