Breitling will present the Bentley 6.75 Midnight Carbon at Baselworld 2014, a limited edition tribute to the biggest Bentley engine.
The black-clad timepiece is limited to 1,000 pieces, and was inspired by the 6.75 litre engine that powers the Mulsanne limousines.
The Breitling for Bentley 6.75 Midnight Carbon has a knurled bezel inspired by Bentley's radiator grilles, and a vertical openworked dial. The case back features a five-spoke motif, in reference to the distinctive Bentley wheel rims.
The watch has a 49 mm black steel case, achieved by special ultra-resistant carbon-based treatment, and a black dial. It has a rotating pinion bezel with variable tachometer, a cambered sapphire crystal that is glare proofed on both sides, and a large aperture calendar.
The watch is powered by the Breitling Calibre 44B self-winding chronograph movement, chronometer-certified by the COSC. It comes with a black rubber strap with a central raised motif, echoing the design on the bezel.
