Shining a spotlight on the tourbillon, beautifully performing behind a rich Obsidian black dial, this elegant Portugieser watch for men combines horological mastery with a classic and elegant aesthetic. The IWC Portugieser Hand Wound Tourbillon Day and Night watch reference IW545901 boasts gold coloured Arabic numerals and hands together with the IWC lettering under the 12 o’clock location. Exposing the golden decorated elements of the in house Calibre 81925, the tourbillon sees the balance wheel and pallet lever placed inside a small cage. The movement’s balance wheel is also manufactured from silicone to withstand the effects of magnetic field damage. The engine is protected inside IWC’s Diamond Shell technology, contributing to an impressive power reserve of 84 hours.
This men’s IWC Portugieser Hand Wound Tourbillon Day and Night watch reference IW545901 also features an 18ct Armor gold case, gold plated hands and appliques, and a stunning black alligator slather strap. The band features a matching Armor gold clasp stamped with the IWC logo. Additional features include a sapphire exhibition caseback, 50 meter water resistance and an innovative day and night indicator at 9 o‘clock.
