Introducing the Pilot’s Watch Chronograph 41 Edition Mercedes AMG Petronas Formula One Team watch reference IW388108. This is the first official team watch created by IWC in the long-standing partnership between itself and the team. IWC Schaffhausen has been the official engineering partner of the Mercedes-AMG Petronas Formula One Team since 2013. The Pilot’s Watch Chronograph 41 Edition Mercedes-AMG Petronas Formula One Team is the first official team watch developed by IWC and boasts a striking black dial with tiffany green dial elements in the racing team’s livery.
The watch celebrates the robustness and strength to density ratio of grade 5 titanium, a material widely used in the automotive industry. The watch holds the Calibre 69385 at its centre, complete with 231 individual components and the capability to deliver a power reserve of 46 hours once fully wound. IWC completes its look on a black embossed calf leather strap or an additional green rubber band. The chronometer movement and classic column wheel design are engineered to perfection, promising around the clock accuracy and a flawless performance day in, and day out.
