The distinct steel sports watch has an instantly recognisable streamlined case and a dodecagonal shaped bezel that can immediately be picked out from across the room. Adding a vibrant splash of colour to the wrist, master designers at Baume & Mercier have renewed the Riviera watch, equipping it with an intense blue coloured dial adorned with a striking wave effect surface. The central hour and minute hands have received a strip of Super LumiNova material to assist with legible timekeeping during the night. The men’s Baume & Mercier Riviera watch features a 42mm stainless steel case integrated with 100 meter water resistance and executed in a mix of polished and brushed finishes.
Sufficing as a remarkably practical tool for the office, the Riviera watch displays a date window at 3 o’clock. For the left handed wearer, this is the first feature revealed from underneath the cuff of a shirt making it a versatile and business friendly companion for wearing every day of the week. In addition to a sapphire crystal glass front, treated with anti glare technology, the same material is sealed to the back of a screw down case, affording a clear view into the performance of the self winding Sellita SW 200 movement. This engine provides a 38 hour power reserve and a performance of 28,800 vibrations per hour. The watch is completed on a sporty blue rubber strap with a folding clasp and security push pieces.
