The DOXA Whitepearl colourway now spans across five of the brand’s dive watch ranges – one being the SUB 600T dive watch collection in a tasteful departure from its familiar vibrant neon colours. Its overall look is classic, legible and incredibly sporty – meet the new DOXA SUB 600T Whitepearl watch.
Back in 2021, specialist dive watch manufacturer, DOXA released the limited edition DOXA SUB 600T Pacific watch, housed in titanium and featuring the brand’s bold and iconic orange colour. As with every DOXA dive watch to have reigned before it, the SUB 600T watch promised a resistant and ultra-strong case to contend with the elements out at sea. The brand has produced some of the best quality affordable dive tools in the industry and has been making history since the release of its professional-grade SUB, available to sports divers back in 1967. The original SUB 600T watch, however first came onto the dive watch scene much later, during the 1980s and was recognised for its crisp angles and straight lines, along with a crown off-set at 4 o’clock. After the titanium DOXA 600T Pacific watch, the brand released a non-limited version, but now it’s time to extend the SUB 600T line with something new all over again.
New for 2022, DOXA has released a Whitepearl variation of its SUB 600T watch. It follows the success of the SUB 200 Whitepearl watch released last year, along with a slew of bold and daring colours that went by the names; Orange Professional, Silver Searambler, Black Sharkhunter, Navy-blue Caribbean, Yellow Divingstar, and Turquoise Aquamarine. Up until now, the new generation of DOXA SUB 600T watches have come in a choice of a black ceramic unidirectional bezel or a steel one. Now DOXA has released a white bezel insert and steel bezel option into the range with the new DOXA SUB 600T Whitepearl watch.

As with DOXA SUB 600T watches of the past, the new Whitepearl iteration sits on the wrist comfortably with a case crafted from stainless steel that measures a diameter of 40mm. The watch is integrated with 600-meter water resistance, owing its robust case structure, legible dial and luminous plots to a daring, aggressive dive tool that will no doubt be utilised by professional and amateur divers alike. Its chiselled physique is a mix of polished and brushed surfaces, with a crown positioned in the unusual location of 4 o’clock.
The new DOXA SUB 600T Whitepearl watch comes in four versions. One with a steel bezel insert and another with a white ceramic insert. The outer ring of the bezel features a depth scale in meters with indications and a light dot at 12 o’clock in Super-LumiNova. The inner section of the bezel features the dive time in black with a dot to highlight the 12 o’clock location. Both models are also offered on the brand’s instantly familiar beads-of-rice stainless steel bracelet or a white sporty FKM rubber strap. Both strap options come with a folding clasp engraved with the DOXA fish symbol and feature an extension mechanism that can accommodate room for a wetsuit. The new DOXA SUB 600T Whitepearl watch is powered by the SW200-1 automatic movement, which provides a 38-hour power reserve. It comprises 26 jewels and beats at a rhythm of 28,800 vibrations per hour whilst secured firmly inside the watch’s robust steel casing.
The dial of the new DOXA SUB 600T Whitepearl watch features a spacious white canvas adorned with the DOXA Automatic lettering at 10 o’clock and the SUB 600T lettering at 4 o’clock. The asymmetrical layout of the dial also features crisp black chunky central hands and a mix of triangular and circular hour markers. All key elements on the dial are treated with a generous layer of Super-LumiNova for timekeeping in dark conditions. The date window resides at 3 o’clock and the second hand is completed with a rectangular motif towards the tip, covered in more lume.
With a legacy that was born during the golden era of the dive watch, DOXA never seems to disappoint with its astounding range of vivid yet functional and highly robust dive tools. Their reliable designs came just in time for a surge in scuba diving, both as a hobby and professionally. Though bold in design, sharp and angular – the SUB 600T watch is one of the smallest offerings by DOXA and thus should appeal to those with a slender wrist. The steel bracelet weighs around the 180g mark, the rubber strap dropping to around 160 grams. Together, this compact design with a closed steel threaded caseback and screw-down crown, makes for one of the handiest, most functional and eye-catching dive tools of all the latest DOXA Whitepearl releases.
