Louis Erard Excellence Regulator Limited Edition Watch Review
Wednesday - 26 June 2019
Commanding respect, the Louis Erard Watch Excellence Regulator Limited Edition goes back to its roots by relaunching an iconic model. Redesigned by the talented Eric Giroud, the unique design is elegant, refined and exclusive with only 70 pieces available per piece.
The trio is a response to society’s attitude towards consumerism. We’re living in an age where individuals are actively starting to question their buying choices opting to consume less but much better. Investing in pieces that last and never go out of style, customers look for brands to be transparent, share their values and take responsibility. As a result, Louis Erard begins a new chapter by reinterpreting a legendary piece for a contemporary audience. A new direction for the brand, which plans to renew itself beginning with the three limited editions.
The unique design brings an unusual time display to the wrist with the hours and seconds off-centre, which combines both a timeless and modern aesthetic; a balance that guarantees success for the brand appealing to both stylish gents and ladies who admire their rare yet elegant approach. The hours are read via a counter positioned at 12 o’clock, the minutes are indicated by the central hand, the seconds pass by on the counter situated at 6 o'clock and the date aperture is displayed at 3 o’clock.
Admire the three new editions in ivory white, intense black and night blue, all providing a different feel to the original design. Framed in a 42mm stainless steel case, each stunning dial shields the self-winding mechanical movement with Dubois Depraz complication. Fasten each colour way with a leather strap that compliments the dial shade effortlessly – black, blue and cognac. Finished with a folding clasp, the limited edition is easy and comfortable to wear for every occasion.
Join Louis Erard who appreciates quality over quantity. Invest in a piece that you will never want to take off and will last a lifetime never going out of style and always fashionably on time.
