We have a treasure trove of delights to dive into here at Jura Watches – the new Geneva Watch Days 2021 collections can be viewed here. But if you haven’t yet had a chance to look into each new individual watch release for 2021, we’ve created this round-up of all the new Geneva Watch Days 2021 releases here. Let’s get stuck in…
Oris Big Crown ProPilot Rega Fleet Limited Editions
The new series of Oris Big Crown ProPilot Rega Fleet watches is a big one. The watchmaker has collaborated with the non-profit Swiss Air Rescue team to produce a limited edition series that outlines each one of Rega’s fleet of 21 helicopters and fixed-wing aircraft. The models bear a unique engraving of the aircraft upon their stainless steel casebacks, a red Rega logo on the dial and have each been exclusively produced in quantities of just 100 worldwide. If you’re a keen collector of the popular Big Crown ProPilot watch from Oris, you won’t want to miss adding this pilot’s watch from the Geneva Watch Days 2021 launch to your collection.
Oris Aquis Date Upcycle Watches
The Earth’s climate, conservation and raising awareness around living more greenly are all issues considered of utmost importance to Oris. For this year’s Geneva Watch Days 2021 event, the Swiss watchmaker has released a new 41.5mm and 36.5mm stainless steel model with a unique dial crafted from upcycled PET ocean plastic. Part of the trash collected in the “Clean up” bags produced by Oris are recycled and used in the dial of the watch. The three-handed model features a date window at 3 o’clock and is powered by the Oris 733 Calibre, which can be seen through a sapphire crystal caseback.
Parmigiani Fleurier Tonda PF Watches
The creator of 30 in-house movements over 25 years has released a new series of Tonda watches. It is a refresh of the company's long-running Tonda collection and includes a total of 7 watches with four different designs to choose from. Each model comes on an integrated stainless steel bracelet and has been released in time for the much-anticipated Geneva Watch Days 2021 event. The line includes an annual calendar model with a retrograde date, a high beats split-seconds chronograph in platinum, and a two-handed model. This continuation of the Tondographe line by Parmigiani Fleurier is home to an entry-point model – the Tonda PF Micro-Rotor. For something a little more sporty, however, the rose gold and steel versions of the Tonda PF Chronograph measure a compact 42mm and come in stunning deep blue dials with cushion-shaped pushers whilst also showcasing a new open-worked oscillating weight with a central PF medallion in 22ct rose gold. The Parmigiani Fleurier GT bi-colour watches, however, are available in steel or 18ct rose gold and feature silver dials with a black-filled small second sub-counter at 6 o’clock. They measure a classic 42mm diameter and are offered in a choice of a black rubber band or metal bracelet.
Arnold & Son Globetrotter Steel Limited Editions
With a 24-hour ring and a rotating northern hemisphere that shows the time in different locations, the new Arnold & Son Globetrotter Limited Edition watch in steel is a must-have for all avid travellers and fans of the forward-thinking brand. The mother-of-pearl powder in a blue lacquer on the dial represents the oceans, whilst luminous material depicts the shorelines of the continent. One of the models - the limited edition of 88 pieces - features a blue outer dial while the other boasts an opalescent outer dial – the latter of which is not limited.
Louis Erard Excellence Régulateur Aventurine, Lapis Lazuli & Malachite Watches
For Geneva Watch Days 2021, Louis Erard chooses to show off its flair for unusual materials. A set of three limited edition steel models boast dials crafted from Lapis Lazuli, Aventurine and Malachite and feature snailed opaline sub-counters at 12 and 6 o’clock for the hours and small second functions. These specially crafted stone and glass dials are limited to 99 pieces each and feature sapphire crystal glass fronts and casebacks, a premium leather band, and are powered by a reliable Sellita movement.
Maurice Lacroix Aikon Chronograph Sprint Watch
If you’re a fan of the Maurice Lacroix Aikon watch you won’t be able to resist the new Sprint version, which features a chronograph dial with a powder blue small second sub-dial at 9 o’clock and a matching pale blue rubber strap. The style of this new Geneva Watch Days 2021 release is a stark difference from other Aikon models, yet somehow hints at familiar strands of DNA. These include the distinctive six arms straddling a gunmetal-finished bezel, the M-logo on its strap and the textured dial surface.
Maurice Lacroix Aikon Tribe Limited Edition
Also new for Maurice Lacroix is the Urban Tribe watch. It too belongs to the already-popular Aikon watch series but features a uniquely engraved steel framework that will no doubt appeal to ambitious professionals and city dwellers alike. Inspired by urban landscapes, the engraved bodywork engages with light in a never-seen-before way. The watch offers a black textured dial that interacts with the various motifs and is powered by the trusty Automatic ML 115, which sits inside a 200-meter water-resistant case, fitted with a matching engraved steel bracelet.
DOXA Sub 600T Pacific Limited Edition
Every dive watch enthusiast knows about Doxa. The specialist in dive watch manufacture recently extended a full colour spectrum of dial iterations for its hugely sought-after Sub 200 series. Now it’s time to celebrate the original Doxa Sub 600T from the 1980s. The angular case is this time manufactured in lightweight titanium and features a vivid blue dial to match the colour of the model’s sporty rubber strap. The 2021 limited edition was released as part of the new Geneva Watch Days 2021 event and boasts an unmissable utilitarian look. The twin depth minute display is represented in striking orange and white tones on a ceramic insert and the crown is off-set at 4 o’clock on a 600-meter water-resistant case measuring 40mm.
Sinn 103 Classic Chronograph Limited Edition
We can’t talk about the Geneva Watch Days 2021 event without mentioning Sinn. The German watch brand who has specialised in robust case designs and instruments for aviation and diving professionals for years has released a Sinn 103 Classic Chronograph Limited Edition. Limited to 600 pieces worldwide, the Sinn 103 Classic watch celebrates the brand’s 60th anniversary with a reverse panda dial on a striking dark green wild boar leather strap and an additional black leather strap. Of course, Sinn does nothing by halves, and so the case of this chronograph watch is crafted from high-grade stainless steel. The model features a second time zone display, silver chronograph counters, a black captive bezel, a date window at 8 o’clock, and is equipped with the brand’s Ar-Dehumidifying Technology that promises a fog-resistant view into the dial.
Czapek Antarctique Rattrapante Limited Edition
The new Czapek Antarctique Rattrapante Limited Edition watch is a split-seconds chronograph that follows in the footsteps of the brand’s Antarctique luxury sports watch design developed a few years ago. The two superimposed seconds hands enable the rattrapante hand to be stopped and read at any time, whilst the other keeps running. Its skeletonised dial offers a striking look for the wrist and the watch is powered by the brand’s proprietary calibre SXH6 movement, developed in partnership with Chronode.
