We can’t think of a better cure for a huge dose of the January blues than a line up of new releases from your favourite brands. SIHH couldn’t be timed better, offering us watch enthusiasts a taste of horological goodness for the New Year. If these new releases are anything to go by, 2019 is set to impress.
Maurice Lacroix
Never failing to deliver, Maurice Lacroix add distinctive new designs to their iconic Aikon collection. From a whole new colour combination to an all black design and a skeletonised dial, the 2019 additions to the Aikon collection are innovative, modern and unique.
The Eliros collection has also received a makeover with a sumptuous hand-brushed dial that is bound to charm the most sophisticated of gents.
To finish, Maurice Lacroix debuts the pairing of the square wheel complication with a retrograde date display for an innovative, avant-garde masterpiece.
Baume et Mercier
The Baume et Mercier Clifton Baumatic collection welcomed six new models showcasing performance, technical achievement and refined design. True to Baume et Mercier’s style, the new additions combine watchmaking expertise with a contemporary aesthetic and outstanding performance. Opt for either a graduated blue dial or a fresh white watch face framed in a red gold case.
The Clifton Baumatic wasn’t the only collection to welcome new designs. The Clifton Club has four new urban, sporty companions and the Classima collection saw expansion with new elegant, charming pieces for him and for her.
RJ Watches
The new RJ Watches designs are out of this world! Launching watches fascinated with exploring the unknown depths of space, RJ Watches offers mesmerising, galaxy inspired dials with diamond set bezels and indices. Armstrong’s successful mission to the moon in 1969 provided inspiration for a distinctive, unique watch that celebrates a major milestone in mankind.
Parmigiani Fleurier
Starting the year the right way, Parmigian Fleurier brought an impressive line up to SIHH this year.
View the day and date at a glance with the new designs with the Parmigiani Fleurier Toric name. Keeping you on track, two of elegant designs feature a precision moon phase and retrograde perpetual date.
Parmigiani Fleurier felt it was time for a refresh. The Tonda 150 Lune showcases the poetry of the “lunar calendar” with a harmonious, beautiful setting complete with an exquisite mother of pearl dial and rose gold case precision set with dazzling diamonds.
We could not forget the Kalagrapohe Chronometre Titanium with its daring aesthetic made possible by the distinctive, rectangular case and bold open-worked dial.
