Raymond Weil Watch Launches 2013 International Photography Contest

Raymond Weil is continuing its support of the arts with the launch of its International Photography Contest.

The annual contest, which began in 2006, is open to amateur and professional photographers alike. The competition is run through the official Raymond Weil website, and is "part of its ongoing effort to be ever more involved and successful in the patronage of the arts and its endeavour to unveil new artists." The 2013 theme is 'Music', inspired by one of the brand's "dearest passions".

The Grand Prize winner will be chosen by photography and communication professionals, and will receive $5,000 USD and international media coverage. The winner's work will also be exhibited by Raymond Weil at Baselworld 2014, the world's largest watch and jewellery show.

Twenty runner-up entries will be presented online for a public vote. The Public's Choice Award winner will receive a Raymond Weil watch and international media coverage.
