TW Steel has revealed its new collection of watches for the Yamaha Factory Racing MotoGP team.
The watch brand announced its role as an Official Sponsor of Yamaha Factory Racing in May 2013, and have now launched four new timepieces inspired by the team's YZR-M1 motorbike. The watches will be worn by the team at every MotoGP event.
"These dynamic timepieces perfectly reflect TW Steel's stylish design accents while infusing the very brand DNA and the racing pedigree of Yamaha Factory Racing into each model," the brand says.
The TW924 has a 45 mm steel case with PVD yellow gold plated pillars on the side, inspired by the shape of shock absorbers. The screws on the bezel, mid-piece of the crown and the pushbutton holders are PVD dark titanium coated. The watch has a black carbon dial, and a mineral crystal with a sapphire layer. It comes with a blue silicon strap with double injection logo and an anti-dust protection layer. A 48 mm version is also available (TW925).
The TW926 is said to "emulate a more luxurious quality" to the partnership, with a 45 mm brushed steel case and PVD yellow gold plated pushers. The watch has a hardened mineral crystal, a black carbon dial, and clearly legible hands and numbers. It is also available with a 48 mm case (TW927).
The chronographs are powered by the Miyota 6S20 calibre, and feature an engraving of the Yamaha Factory Racing logo on the case back.
