Breitling has redesigned its Avenger line to a style that is "even more technical, functional and sophisticated".
The new Avenger has a slimmer case, with stencil-type numerals inspired by its ties to aviation. It has an engraved and satin-brushed bezel adorned with integrated rider tabs, and is described as a "concentrated blend of power, precision and functionality".
The Breitling Avenger II collection is made up of four models.
Left - Breitling Avenger II chronograph; Right - Breitling Avenger II GMT.
The Avenger II chronograph has a 43 mm diameter, water resistance to 300 metres and pushpiece guards screwed into the steel.
The Avenger II GMT also measures 43 mm, and features a second timezone display in 24-hour mode. It has a bidirectional rotating bezel enabling a third timezone reading, and water resistance to 300 metres.
Left - Breitling Super Avenger II chronograph; Right - Breitling Avenger II Seawolf.
The Super Avenger II chronograph has a 48 mm diameter, and is water resistant to 300 metres.
Finally, the Avenger II Seawolf, a "professional super-diver model" offers water resistance to 3,000 metres and a diameter of 45 mm. It has a security valve to equal the differences of pressure between the inside and outside of the case.
Each model is available in a choice of several dial colours with a bracelet or rubber strap.
The Avenger II watches are equipped with mechanical self-winding movement chronometer-certified by the COSC, and feature large hands and hour-markers with luminescent coating to ensure optimum readability.
