Longines Conquest Classic Moonphase Watch Review
Thursday - 15 January 2015
A new addition to the Conquest Classic collection, this sophisticated chronograph features a moonphase display and is available in three different versions. The design was inspired by the long relationship between Longines watches and equestrian sports, dating back to 1878. The Longines Conquest Classic Moonphase is said to reflect the elegance and sophistication of equestrian sports and the brand's watchmaking tradition.
The watch is powered by the self-winding mechanical chronograph movement L678. It has a 42 mm case in a choice of steel; steel and 18k rose gold cap; or 18k rose gold.
The black or silvered dial features 9 applied indices coated with SuperLumiNova. A 12-hour counter is positioned at 6 o'clock, a 24-hour indicator and seconds subdial at 9 o'clock, and a 30-minute counter and day-month display are placed at 12 o'clock. The date is indicated by a half moon central hand.
These new Longines watches have a transparent case back and are water resistant to 5 bar. The models come with a black alligator strap or bracelet.
