Bell & Ross Vintage BR 126 Insignia Watch Review
Monday - 08 December 2014
Limited to just 99 pieces, the BR 126 Insignia is inspired by the timepieces of the 1940s. The 41 mm steel case is typical of the wristwatches of the era, while the black matte PVD coating is a reference to aeronautical instruments.
The watch is exclusively available in the United Kingdom and displays the RAF roundel on the dial at 6 o'clock. Similar limited edition Bell & Ross watches have also been created for the United States and Italian markets, in tribute to each country's air forces.
The Bell & Ross BR 126 Insignia is powered by a mechanical automatic movement. Two chronograph counters (60-second and 30-minute accumulators) are positioned on the dial at 3 o'clock and 9 o'clock, and a date window is placed near 4 o'clock. The hands, numerals and indices are coated with SuperLumiNova for improved visibility in darkness. The watch has an anti-reflective sapphire crystal and offers water resistance to 100 metres.
