Oris has paid tribute to Darryl O'Young's 10th Macau Grand Prix with a new limited edition timepiece.
Darryl O'Young is one of the most decorated and celebrated GT drivers of all time. In 2013 the Hong Kong based driver drove his number 55 Porsche around his Macau Grand Prix home track for the tenth time in his career.
The Darryl O'Young Limited Edition is part of the Oris TT3 collection, with a motorcar inspired design. The watch is powered by the Oris automatic mechanical movement 744, with a chronograph function and a date window at 6 o'clock. It has a 44.5 mm multi-piece titanium case with diamond-like carbon PVD coating, and an anti-reflective sapphire crystal that is domed on both sides.
A bold red '10' and an accentuated '55' om the black dial highlight O'Young's achievements at Macau. There is a ceramic tachometer top ring in reference to O'Young's speed, and the transparent crystal case back features a spoke design inspired by the wheels of his Porsche.
The timepiece is limited to 500 pieces and comes with a black rubber strap. It is presented in a special tyre inspired box.
