Bell & Ross BR S Diamond Eagle Watch Review
Friday - 08 April 2016
Bell & Ross take us on a journey to the stars at Basel this year. Fascinated with astronomy and symbolism of the stars that were used for navigation at sea, Bell & Ross pay tribute to historic constellations with the elegant BR S Diamond Eagle. Ancient travellers would look to the night sky to find their bearings as the great expansion of the ocean surrounds them; an important reference for voyagers of this time. In particular, the breathtaking ladies watch focuses on the Aquila constellation, also recognised as Jupiter's Eagle; an iconic cluster of stars that can be easily viewed from Earth.
To showcase their celestial influence, the Bell & Ross BR S Diamond Eagle accommodates a midnight blue dial representing the dark sky, which is broken by gleaming metal indices and seven diamonds that take on the shape of the constellation focus; a mini Milky Way set inside the round dial framed by a square case - a signature style of the brand.
Together the inspiration and design skills of Bell & Ross have created a beautiful, sophisticated and elegant instrument that embodies a significant part of history. The inclusion of white diamonds on the dial provides an air of grandeur and femininity enhanced by the striking blue dial that compliments the alligator strap. The satin-polished steel case demands attention against the midnight blue and provides a strong presence on the wrist complimenting the diamonds also. Two sleek stainless steel hands allow for precise readability whilst peering through the anti-reflective sapphire crystal glass.
A minimal yet powerful, showstopping piece from Bell & Ross that will transport you to the stars this Spring.
